Jess and Gareth

Llam Hall Wedding Saturday 4th November

Being an adventurous and outdoorsy couple, Jess and Gareth couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue and location for their fun and relaxed, autumnal wedding weekend in the Peak District. The YHA Ilam Hall was so much more than we could have imagined. Set In the heart of the Derbyshire Dales Peak District National Park, the large Victorian manor house is surrounded by 80 acres of stunning National Trust Country Park and sits on the banks of the river Manifold.

With autumn in full swing it was pretty much a photographers paradise! Don’t be fooled by the grand exterior though, this YHA owned building has the perfect laid back ambience and rustic feel to make everyone feel at home. Friday night set the scene with family and friends arriving for the weekend, everyone gathered for a fun evening of pie and mash, homemade cakes galore a few pints and a pub quiz.

The wedding day was nothing short of spectacular, it was just all about the right things, the important things, family, friends, laughter, love and nature… incredibly moving and beautiful from start to finish, a totally personal, genuine, heartfelt, relaxed celebration, with the most down-to-earth, warm and welcoming people. It was a complete pleasure to be there to photograph their wedding weekend and we’re so grateful we got to share it.
